How can we help?

Answers to the questions collectors and shops ask most. If yours isn’t here, email support@vendr.pro.

Getting started

What is Vendr?

An iPhone app for Pokémon and One Piece card collectors. It gives every card one price in euros, built from European market data and shown with its source, and keeps your collection, deals, trades with other collectors, and shops near you in one place.

Which games does Vendr cover?

Pokémon, in English and Japanese sets, and One Piece. Only those two.

How do I get Vendr?

Vendr is in beta on iPhone through Apple’s TestFlight. Ask for an invite at support@vendr.pro. The beta page walks you through it.

Does it cost anything?

No. Vendr is free during the beta, and shops are free through launch.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. Android is planned for later.

I don’t see a feature mentioned on this site.

Some features reach beta testers in stages, and the store finder arrives in the next iPhone build. Make sure TestFlight has the latest version installed.

Account and sync

Do I need an account?

No. Without an account, your collection, binders, lists, deals and watchlist are stored only on your phone, and price alerts still work. You need a free account to sync and back up, to have a profile, and to trade with other collectors or run a shop.

How do I sign in?

With Apple, with Google, or with a code sent to your email address. Vendr never sees your Apple or Google password.

How old do I need to be?

Accounts are for people aged 16 and over. Mail trades with other collectors are for people aged 18 and over.

I have a new phone. How do I move my collection?

If you have an account, sign in on the new phone the same way and your collection syncs across. If you don’t, create a free account on the old phone first, then sign in on the new one.

Can other people see my collection?

Only what you choose. Your trade binder and wants are visible to signed-in collectors unless you limit them to followers or hide them. The rest of your collection, what it’s worth and what you paid are yours alone unless you open your collection to followers or everyone.

Collection and scanning

How do I add cards?

Search for them, scan them with the camera, or import a CSV. From a card’s page, add it with its condition, language and the price you paid.

What can I search by?

Name, number, nickname or description. “moonbreon”, “OP05-119” and “purple luffy leader” all work.

How does scanning work, and where do the pictures go?

Hold a card up to the camera. Apple’s on-device text recognition reads it on your phone, and the pictures are deleted straight away. Only the text that identifies the card, such as its name and number, is sent to find it in the catalogue. Pictures are never uploaded or kept. “From a photo” works the same way and leaves the photo where it was.

Can I import my collection from another app or a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export a CSV from the other app or spreadsheet and import it in Vendr. Vendr works out which columns hold the name, set, number, quantity, condition, language and price paid, and matches each row to a card.

Can I export my collection?

Yes, at any time: Account, then Export collection.

How do I add a graded card?

Add the card as a slab and pick the grader (PSA, BGS, CGC or TAG) and the grade. Graded cards are valued from real sold prices for that grade, not from the raw card’s price.

What are binders, the trade binder and wants?
  • Binders group cards in your collection however you like.
  • The trade binder is the one other collectors can see, for trading.
  • Wants are the cards you’re hunting. Vendr can tell you when someone’s trade binder matches them.
  • The watchlist is for cards you follow for price, with optional targets.

Prices

Where do Vendr’s prices come from?

For Pokémon, the Cardmarket trend price. For One Piece, the average sale on Cardmarket over the last 7 days. Graded slabs are valued from eBay sales, and a few promos that aren’t on Cardmarket from TCGplayer’s US market price. Tap the price on any card to see its source. How Vendr prices cards has the details.

Why is Vendr’s price higher than the cheapest listing?

The cheapest listing is one seller’s asking price, often for a worse copy, from far away, or a bait listing. Vendr’s price follows what cards actually sell for.

What does “from €x” mean on a slab?

That grade has copies listed but no recent sales. “From €x” is the lowest current listing. It isn’t a value, so it doesn’t count towards what your collection is worth.

How often do prices update?

Once a day.

How do price alerts work?

Add a card to your watchlist and set a target above or below today’s price. When the price gets there, Vendr sends a notification. Allow notifications for Vendr in iOS Settings for this to work.

A price looks wrong. What should I do?

Tap the price to see where it comes from, and check the language and condition of your copy. If it still looks wrong, email support@vendr.pro with the card and what you expected. Prices are estimates and can be wrong, late or missing.

Trading

How does a trade work?

You send an offer, counter until you agree, then finish by mail (ship within 5 days, then confirm what arrived) or in person (one phone shows a one-time code, the other scans it). Trading safely explains every step.

Does Vendr handle payment or shipping?

No. Any cash in an offer is settled between the two of you, outside Vendr, and you arrange shipping yourselves. Vendr never holds money, cards or parcels.

Can I cancel a trade?

Only before anything has been shipped or swapped, and only if the other person agrees. Once cards are on their way, report a problem instead.

The other person hasn’t shipped. What happens?

If they don’t ship by the deadline after you did, the trade can be marked as not completed, and that shows on their profile. Report a problem from the trade so a moderator can look at it.

What happens when I report a problem?

The trade pauses, so nothing confirms or completes on its own. The other person is told, and Vendr’s moderators review the offer, the shipping status and the chat. Keep photos of the cards and the packaging, as we may ask for them.

Why do I have to confirm I’m an adult?

Mail trades with other collectors are for people aged 18 and over, so both of you confirm it before one starts.

How do I block or report someone?

From their profile, an offer or a message. Someone you block sees nothing of yours and can’t contact you. Reports go to Vendr’s moderators.

Shops and the map

How is “Where to buy” ordered?

By price plus €0.50 for every kilometre to the shop, so a shop 10 km further away has to be about €5 cheaper to rank higher. Online shops count with their shipping. You can switch to cheapest or nearest, and nobody can pay for a better position.

How do I get my shop on Vendr?

Apply in the app with a free account. We check every shop by hand before it appears. See Vendr for shops.

What is the store finder?

A map of card shops and retailers near you, coming in the next iPhone build: local card, game and comic shops, chains that stock cards, and verified Vendr shops on top. Tap a place to see Apple Maps’ own place card with directions, phone, website, hours, photos and reviews. On iOS versions before 18, Vendr shows its own summary of the place.

My store is on the map. How do I claim it?

Open it on the map, tap Claim, and tell us your role and an email address or phone number. We verify by calling the store on its public number or by asking you to email support@vendr.pro from the store’s own address. More about claiming.

A place on the map doesn’t sell cards.

Flag it from its place card. Flags help us take places off the map that shouldn’t be there.

Can other collectors see where I live?

No. You appear on the map only if you turn on “Trade binder on the map”, and then only as your handle in a group at the centre of a town you pick, rounded to about 1 km. Never an address.

Privacy and your account

Does Vendr track me?

No. Vendr has no ads, no analytics and no tracking across apps, and neither does this website.

When does Vendr use my location?

Only when you tap “Near me”, for that search, to work out distances. It isn’t stored, and the app forgets it when you close it. Vendr never asks for your location in the background. If you pick a town instead, the town stays on your phone.

Where is my data stored?

Accounts and synced data are stored in the EU, in Frankfurt, Germany. The privacy policy lists every provider that processes data for Vendr.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Account, then Delete account. Your profile, collection, lists, deals, watchlist, follows and messages you wrote are deleted straight away. Trades you completed stay visible to the other person, with your name replaced by “a deleted account”. If a trade was unfinished or disputed, some details are kept for 12 months to settle it; the privacy policy explains exactly what.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Account, then Export collection, gives you a copy of your collection at any time. For anything else, email support@vendr.pro. We answer within one month.

Contact

How do I contact Vendr?

Email support@vendr.pro. Vendr is run from Greece, and the same address handles help, data requests, shop questions and appeals.

I found a bug or have an idea.

Take a screenshot in Vendr and TestFlight offers to send it as beta feedback, or email support@vendr.pro. Tell us what you did and what you expected.

I want to report illegal content.
