These terms apply when you use Vendr ("we"), an app run from Greece. Contact: support@vendr.pro.
Using Vendr
You can use Vendr without an account. Creating an account requires you to be at least 16. Mail trades with other collectors require you to be at least 18.
Keep one account per person, and don't share it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Prices
Vendr's prices are estimates built from public market data such as Cardmarket listings and eBay sales. They can be wrong, late or missing. They are information, not an offer to buy or sell and not financial advice.
Trades between collectors
Vendr lets you send, change and accept trade offers. The trade itself is between you and the other collector:
- Vendr is not a party to your trades. It doesn't hold money, cards or parcels, and doesn't guarantee that the other person will deliver.
- Describe your cards honestly, including condition, language and any damage.
- Any cash agreed in an offer is settled between the two of you, outside Vendr.
- Shipping, packaging and any risk of loss are arranged between the two of you.
- If something goes wrong, report it in the app. We will look at reports and can act on accounts, but we can't recover cards or money.
Accepting an offer is a commitment
Once an offer is accepted, both of you have agreed to do your part:
- By mail, each of you ships within 5 days of accepting and marks it in the app, ideally with a tracking number. Each of you then confirms the other's cards arrived as agreed, or reports a problem. If you do neither, the receipt confirms itself 14 days after the other person marked their cards as shipped.
- In person, you finish the trade together in the app, by one of you showing a code and the other entering it, or by both confirming the swap.
- Backing out is possible only before anything has been shipped or swapped, and only if the other person agrees. Once cards are on their way, the trade can't be cancelled; report a problem instead.
- If one of you doesn't ship by the deadline after the other did, the trade can be marked as not completed, and that shows on the profile of the person who didn't deliver.
- When a problem is reported, we review the trade and can decide how it shows on both records: completed, not completed (and by whom) or cancelled.
- After a trade you can review the other person. Reviews must be honest and about the trade.
- Deleting your account doesn't undo a trade. It ends your trades in progress: if the other person has already sent their cards and you haven't sent yours, the trade counts as not completed on your side and goes to our moderators. The privacy policy says what we keep in that case.
Shops on Vendr
Shops can list what they sell on Vendr so collectors nearby, or anywhere they ship to, can find it next to Vendr's price.
Who can be a shop. Card stores, online shops and individual sellers, including people selling from home, as long as they sell trading cards legitimately. You apply in the app with your shop's details and something that shows you're a real seller, such as a website, a marketplace profile or a business registration. Vendr checks every application before the shop shows to anyone, and can ask for more.
Claiming a store from the map. The map shows stores found with Apple Maps. If you own, manage or work at one and may speak for it, you can claim it in the app. We check every claim by hand, for example by calling the store's public phone number or asking you to email us from the store's own address, and we can turn down a claim we can't verify. An approved claim makes the store a verified shop under these terms. Claiming a store you don't represent is a serious breach of these terms.
Your sales are yours. The shop is responsible for its prices, its stock, its descriptions and the sale itself. Vendr doesn't sell anything, take payments or hold stock, and isn't a party to any sale between a shop and a customer. Consumer law that applies to the shop's sales applies as usual.
Genuine items only. List only genuine cards and products that you have, described honestly, including condition and language. Keep your stock up to date: a listing you haven't confirmed for 14 days shows as "may be out of date", and after 30 days it's hidden until you confirm it.
How results are ordered. On a card or product page, shops near you are ordered by price plus a small allowance for distance (€0.50 per kilometre), unless the collector chooses "Cheapest" or "Nearest". Shops that ship are ordered by price plus their stated shipping. Listings older than 30 days are left out. On the map, shops show where they are, priced for the item being looked at. Nobody can pay for a better position, and Vendr doesn't sell cards itself, so no one is placed ahead of shops.
Limits, suspension and closing. We can limit, suspend or close a shop that offers fake or proxy items, misdescribes stock, keeps listing what it doesn't have, posts misleading drops, treats customers abusively, or otherwise breaks these terms. When we do, we tell you what we did and why, at the latest when it takes effect, and you can ask us to look again by emailing support@vendr.pro; we answer within 14 days. Before closing a shop for good we give 30 days' notice, unless the law requires us to act sooner or the shop has broken these terms repeatedly or seriously. You can close your shop yourself at any time.
Data. Your shop page, listings and drops are public. You can see and change your shop's details, listings and drops in the app. We don't sell shop data or give it to other shops.
Price. Shops are free on Vendr during launch. If we ever charge for shop features, we'll tell shops at least 30 days before, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
Drops
A drop is a notification about a restock, pre-order, price drop, release, store drop, queue or event. Vendr's team posts drops for official stores and other retailers, and verified shops can post restocks, pre-orders and price drops for their own stock, up to 3 a day.
- Drops must be accurate and current. Don't post stock you don't have, fake scarcity, or a price you won't honour.
- A drop's link may only go to the shop's own website and listed links, or to the retailer's real website.
- Drops are information. Vendr doesn't guarantee that anything is in stock or that you'll get it.
- We can withdraw a drop at any time, and misleading drops can lead to a shop being limited.
The store finder and restock sightings
Places on the map come from Apple Maps and from what collectors report. We don't guarantee that a place sells cards, is open, or has anything in stock.
Restock sightings and reports about places must be honest: post only what you saw yourself, when you say you saw it. We can remove sightings and reports at any time, and fake ones (for example to send people to a store, or away from one) can lead to your account being limited or suspended.
Community rules
Don't:
- offer fake, counterfeit or proxy cards as real, or misdescribe condition or language;
- scam, ghost after accepting, or ask someone to pay outside the agreed terms;
- harass, threaten or insult anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content;
- spam, advertise unrelated products, or create accounts to get around a block or a ban;
- share someone else's personal information, such as their address, outside the trade it was given for;
- send photos that aren't of the cards or parcel in your trade, or that show other people's personal information;
- use Vendr for anything illegal.
Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a profile, offer, message or shop in the app, including content they believe is illegal. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account. When we do, we tell you what we did and why, and you can ask us to look again by emailing support@vendr.pro.
Your content
Content you add, such as your handle, trade binder, wants, offers, messages, photos and shop listings, stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the people it's meant for, as long as it's on Vendr.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account. We may close accounts that break these terms. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.
Liability
Vendr is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from trades between collectors, from purchases from shops, from drops, or from relying on prices. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Greece. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will tell you before the change applies.
